About the car
Will the Tesla Roadster become the first collectable electric car?
If you ask us, it already is.
Roadster Sport 2.5!
This is a Roadster Sport! Even more rare then a regular Roadster.
Acceleration is .2 seconds faster to 100km/h to 3.7, base HP is 40 higher to 288, Suspension is custom tuned…
Considering that only 2450 of these roadsters were ever built and shipped globally, with only 575 units in Europe, there is only one way but up for their value.
It also holds the title of the first production car to ever be launched into space, carried by a falcon heavy rocket during a SpaceX test flight on February 6, 2018.
ROADSTER SPORT:
- Power and Performance: The Roadster Sport features an upgraded electric motor with a new stator, delivering 288 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, compared to the base Roadster’s 248 hp and 273 lb-ft. This results in a quicker 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds versus 3.9 seconds for the base model.
- Suspension: The Sport includes remote-reservoir shocks with 10 adjustable stiffness settings and three-position adjustable anti-roll bars, enhancing handling over the base model’s standard setup.
- Wheels and Tires: Equipped with black forged 18-inch wheels and stickier Yokohama Advan A048 tires, versus the base model’s 18-inch wheels with Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tires for improved grip.
- Badging: The Sport model has distinctive badges on the rear and door sills, while the base version lacks these.
- Price: The Roadster Sport adds approximately $19,500 to the base model’s starting price of around $109,000, bringing it to about $128,500.
