Electrek reports that the Zaventem police zone has bought two Tesla Model S cars from Nikola, an independent Tesla dealer in Londerzeel. Together with the police, Nikola converted a Model S 85D into a patrol car, after tests showed that its range and performance were more than sufficient. The second car, a Model S 90D, is used by the police chief as an unmarked vehicle. By Electrek’s count, this is the fifth police force to use Tesla vehicles.
